DADO Architecture PLLC

Dominique Haggerty and Daniel Schillberg established Dado Architecture in 2019 in response to growing demand for our design insights. We met at the prestigious Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at the Cooper Union in New York in 1999, and have been collaborating on a wide range of projects ever since.

By working on design at various scales - in furniture design, commercial and artistic installations, private homes and multi-residential projects - we have developed a holistic and flexible approach toward architecture with Material and Spatial integrity as core tenets.  Each project is unique, influenced by site and context, and ultimately shaped by the long-term aspirations of the clients.

DANIEL SCHILLBERG

Daniel is a passionate designer and builder with a lifelong experience in the architectural industry. He grew up building passive solar houses on the Nebraska plains with his father who was a master carpenter. His commitment to sustainability remains a core principle of his design approach.

In New York, Daniel was tapped by KUB Capital to lead and manage the design division of the boutique development company. His thoughtful vision for a clean and understated luxury includes the townhouses at Wythe Lane in Brooklyn and the much lauded design of 150 Wooster that led to record-breaking sales in Soho. In addition to his design work, Daniel founded Builder of Scale which provides project management and presentation consulting services to architects and developers.
